Welcome to Judy
Masters Oval, the home of the Balgownie Rangers Football
Club. BRFC
was established in 1883 making it the oldest running
football club in Australia.
BRFC
boasts an impressive 126 years of football in Australia
and a huge junior base that continues to grow every
year.
We are currently
playing in the Illawarra Credit Union District competition for the
2008 Season.
Our season usually
runs from about March to October every year, so why
not drop in one weekend and be treated to an afternoon
of entertaining football.

Woonona too strong for Bally
The Bally Rangers last week lost their bid for promotion to the Premier League after a 6-1 aggregate loss to Woonona. After losing the first leg 3-1 at home, it was always an uphill battle, however the Bally boys did themselves proud with a strong performance in the return leg. While losing 3-0, the scoreline was no real indication of the game with the final 2 goals coming in the last few minutes of the game.
Congratulations to Woonona and bestof luck up in the Premier League next season.
Semi-Final Football
Bally First Grade now have set their sights on the semi-finals. This Sunday we play University in the first game at Judy Masters Oval, 2:30pm.

New Year, New Name
Balgownie Rangers Soccer Club have now officially changes their name to Balgownie Rangers Football Club.
The change of name was ushered in at the recent AGM as wellas the following positions:

President - Travis Faulks
Secretary - Daniel Lewis
Treasurer - David Faulks
Club Manager - John Jackson
Groundsman - Gino Vardareff
Media Manager - David Jedrzejczak
Public Officer - Ben Christiansen
Pre-Season Training will commence Thursday, 10th January at Judy Masters Oval from 6:30pm onwards. Club Coach is Julio Miranda (mobile: 0413 030 665)
