Balgownie Soccer working bee circa 1986-1989 at Judy Masters Oval

The below 8 pictures relate to a working bee at Judy Masters Oval in the mid to late eighties, which both the Junior and Senior Clubs attended. Various faces are familiar to myself (Mario Vescio, Torbin Christiansen, Dave Devenney, Ian Drain, Noel Bone, Mr Jenkins, Geoff Burling and Eric Thompson just to name a few) and it is interesting to see how Judy Masters Oval has changed since these pictures were taken (the substitute benches being on the eastern side of the ground, the lack of sponsorship signs, the Clubhouse having no awning off it et cetera). Fraternity Club Cup 2010

Balgownie Rangers have been drawn in group 1 (with Albion Park, Tarrawanna & University) of the Fraternity Club Cup for 2010. This pre-season competition starts on the 17 of February and games are played at night at a variety of grounds. As details are given to us by the Illawarra Football Association we will publish them on the website.
