Over the course of the last couple of weeks, Sean Hofman and his employees from South Coast Floor Coverings have been laying down a new kitchen floor for the Balgownie Football Clubhouse. This generous donation from South Coast Floor Coverings is sincerely appreciated by the Balgownie Rangers Football Club and on behalf of the Club I thank Sean, his family and South Coast Floor Coverings for their ongoing support, a true Community business. Detailed below is the history of South Coast Floor Coverings involvement with Balgownie football, which was brilliantly written and supplied from Sean and for this I thank him.

South Coast Floor Coverings has been involved in club since 1972. Henk Hofman founder of South Coast Floor Coverings assisted the club in many ways. As a sponsor , Trainer,ground development member and committee member. Many families like the Hofman family have always assisted in the background of the club. They have sponsored the club via senior and junior components year after year. Over the years South Coast Floor Coverings and the Hofman Family have sponsored the juniors team game shirts, donated 3 canteen floors. Help fund training team shirts . Assisted at times in running of the club and raising of funds . Henk Hofman and a team of committee members organized the building of the hill around ground one. Installing of the lights and rebuilding of the club house many years ago. South Coast Floor Coverings are proud sponsors of only 2 sporting organizations in the Illawarra.
